Impulses on coaching, self-experience, attitude and training — calm, personal and close to practice.
Inner work begins where we are willing to meet ourselves honestly. It is not a straight path and not a project that is ever “finished”. Rather, it is an ongoing engagement with our own patterns, beliefs, needs and possibilities.
In coaching, one thing shows itself again and again: change rarely comes from pressure. It grows out of awareness, out of recognising what is at work – often long before we can consciously name it. A mindful attitude towards ourselves creates space for development and new decisions.
Self-experience means looking at our own story with curiosity. Which experiences shape our thinking? Which inner voices accompany us? And which of them still support us today? It is precisely in practice that it becomes clear how valuable small steps can be: a change of perspective, an honest conversation, a moment of pausing.
Inner attitude also plays a central role in the training. Methods and expertise are important – yet the quality of the support arises just as much from presence, reflection and the ability to truly meet the other person.
Inner work takes time, courage and sometimes patience with ourselves. It invites us not only to know more about ourselves, but to experience ourselves more consciously. This is exactly where its particular power lies: it connects personal development with a deeper understanding of our own actions – in everyday life, at work and in accompanying others.
